The ranking system places musicians in a category that reflects their skill level, ensuring both challenge and growth within ARCO. It serves as a progress guide, helping musicians set clear goals.

Before applying to audition, candidates must select a rank based on their abilities after reviewing the requirements and excerpts for each rank with their private instrument instructor to ensure an accurate assessment.

Seasonal auditions allow musicians to advance as they improve, ensuring all members meet ARCO’s performance standards. If a musician’s skills no longer align with their rank, adjustments may be made.

Beyond placement, the ranking system fosters discipline, growth, and motivation, encouraging musicians to refine their skills and strive for excellence.
